Coffee and Side Table Set

Available or Custom Order
Sometimes our favorite custom projects are inspired by our client’s design ideas! This chestnut and pine coffee and side table set are a perfect example of that.

The chestnut and steel tube coffee table was originally for sale on our showroom floor without a lower shelf. Our client loved the look of the coffee table, but felt that a shelf was a needed feature for her lifestyle and space.
Liz worked with the existing piece and created a seamless addition with the same custom square tube and reclaimed pine for the lower shelf.

The design of the coffee table then inspired the design of a matching, slim side table. Liz used the same concept of an inset, lower steel frame and reclaimed pine to bring both pieces together.

While not all custom projects start with existing pieces of furniture from our showroom floor, we love a collaborative process to make your furniture work for you!

Custom Steel Tube Coffee Table

SOLD/CUSTOM ORDER

Every now and then we get a custom order that turned out so well, we’re sad to see it leave our shop. This is one of those pieces.
This client ordered a simple, custom coffee table with 3/4 square tube and a reclaimed top- based off of the design seen in our Steel Box Coffee Table.
The stars aligned and these two boards found their way to our workshop, where Liz knew they would be perfect for this project. The invisible supports give the wood top a light and airy appearance, not to mention the beautiful negative space highlighted in the center! After sanding the boards to size, Liz added two beautiful oxidized oak butterflies, tying the piece together as a whole.
This table measures 45.5″ x 22″ x 16″

Stacked Wood Coffee Table

this piece is so sturdy and good looking it is essentially boundless in its potential uses. it serves perfectly as a small coffee table with a sheet meal surface that has achieved a lifetime of patina, means you couldn’t leave a stain if you tried. the legs are from a cast iron stove, so sturdy you can stand on it, or sit on it as a bench at the foot of your bed. and finally, the top swings out to reveal hidden storage space, a plus whether you’re hiding things, or just hiding that your storing them.
